Owner and founder of Casa boa, Amber Pieroelie, moved to Bali in 2018 to follow her dream of starting a café abroad. She succeeded and opened Barboa, a tropical brunch spot in the center of Canggu. And even though it was an amazing experience and everything she dreamed off, the feeling of missing home was sometimes very overwhelming. Together with the impact of the COVID pandemic, made her realize how serious loneliness can impact your well-being. A mental health issue that was suddenly very common among all ages for a wide variety of people worldwide. And so, she was determined to develop a product that brought back the feeling of home, wherever she was. A product she could wrap her hands around and allowed her to feel the reconnection with herself and with others. A product made of love, to spread happiness by increasing the amount interactions while enjoy being in the moment. This message was the foundation of the ‘Cozy bubble cup’. And the beginning of Casa Boa.

Casa boa’s primary focus is to develop handmade unique items, crafted by local artisans in Indonesia. We collaborate with some of the best artisans around the globe. Our ceramic items are handmade, unique and from premium quality.Our extraordinary designs are invented by us, to share the love of tropical surroundings and the feeling of home.We strive to include the planets well-being while working on our company goals. By only developing handmade products from natural materials, using sustainable and recyclable materials. Not only tend natural items to boost positive energy at home. Smaller scaled products are produced sustainably and are made in materials that are eco-friendly in nature and leave a smaller footprint. Every step in our production is handled by people with love and care. The materials used are coming straight from the mountains in Java. Turned into clay and transformed into unique, durable items.
